Regional ADMINISTRATIVE DIRECTOR:
Before joining Proud Moments in August 2019 and launching the Nevada-Reno branch, I worked for 8 years as the Senior Director of Children Services, running an early intervention program and supervising ABA therapists. I’m a people person and a great communicator- I focus on maintaining relationships with both staff and clients so that together we can achieve great things, using creativity to help parents navigate the process.
How I Lead:
My Passion: I love being involved in helping kids with autism make progress. I also really enjoy the administrative aspect, running a strong location and making sure we have good processes in place, so that we make it as easy as possible for our families.
My Goal: I focus on modeling a positive attitude and spreading positive energy.
My Mantra: Don’t harp on the problem- let’s create a solution! We are helping real people that are struggling, let’s make it as easy as we can with real care and real concern.
My Role Models: One of my previous bosses had a child with autism and she taught me a lot about having true passion to help children, taking all measures to go above and beyond and become an amazing advocate for families.
A Peek Inside
We were fortunate enough to get signed on with Proud Moments as soon as they opened. Our son was 2 at the time, diagnosed with Autism earlier that year. They were amazing at dealing with the insurance company and helping us come up with a plan to afford this opportunity. Even when we came across another insurance change, Naomi and her staff helped us navigate and fight for our coverage.
We have been with them for 13 months now, and our son has had the same BCBA and RBT from the beginning. They are both amazing with our son. I love the constant interaction between them, and the parent training our BCBA provides to us. With their help, we were able to get our son potty trained by his 3rd birthday, which was only 4 months after beginning ABA!
Due to their experience and ability to make adaptations as needed, my son has made monumental progress this last year with our BCBA and RBT. The structure and consistency and play-based model this company provides is well worth every penny invested. I can't stop saying good things about what Proud Moments has done to help my son and his quality of life!
